Well… thank the skies that 2017 has since left us. I finally feel like I am getting back into the groove I had been out of all of last year.
Who else feels that way?
Since the year has started, a lot has happened:
First, I started a new workout program called 80 Day Obsession… which you can guess I am #Obsessed with.
Second, I have been focusing more on self love, self reflection, meditation and finding the right paths to live a better, healthier, more fulfilling life. It has been an amazing journey thus far. I am excited to share each upcoming experience with you!
Third, I have lost 10 lbs since the beginning of this year. Really focusing on my nutrition, fueling my body with whole foods and making sure to eat for performance and not out of boredom.
Last, it is the open season and I have once again joined the 2018 CrossFit Games Open! I feel 100% better this year but still have yet to accomplish all the olympic moves I need to participate comfortably at Rx so Scaled it is! This year, it will be the year that we train harder though!
In order to fuel my performance, planning my meals and meal prep is 100% my secret to success.

Men* I will prepare you… I’m brutally honest when it comes to health fitness and women so you might not like this or maybe those who have GFs/ Wives will get it and find it funny. But I’m warning you a head of time….
So… The “me” show.
Again, I have been slacking. Started off strong- but then the stress of studying for the NASM certification threw me through a loop. Add in Mother Nature and her having to grace me with her presence and you have an interesting week.
I knew it was coming though- see your body has a way of telling you, slow the f down. If you don’t listen, well, it doesn’t matter it will slow down for you.
I don’t listen.
I on the other hand, take on more! Haha like any girl boss right? Wrong. You have to have balance, we don’t have to conquer the world in a day.
Well, given my body has reached exhaustion, late nights studying, crazy CrossFit/ Hard Corp workouts, and coaching…starting last week I begin to spiral… It started with a cheat meal… That lead to a week of inconsistent workouts, I missed my double days and my programming was jacked.
I was just all over the maps.
Sunday came and I was still in this funk of disorganized chaos which lead to Monday… Then today it hit me…
The thing I have been lacking all along was this…
Ya call me crazy.
I had ran out of my Shakeology Saturday, missed it and yesterday it arrived!
So going from drinking it daily to missing it 3 days in a row, big deal for my body.
Here is why:

I’m so glad that this cleanse allows you the ability to eat really good still because I would have died!
But my results are in!! I can say that this wasn’t easy and it put me to the test! I had to avoid temptation all around me- the work place- my house- I literally watched my boyfriend eat pizza as I inhaled my spinach leaves ๐
But it was well worth it! I feel so amazing!
So here are my numbers….
Starting weight: 149.4 lbs
Starting body fat %: 30.6%
End weight: 143.4 lbs
End body fat %: 27.9%

When I wanted to just binge on chocolate I had Shakeology in the AM which helped my cravings through the day. It also filed my body with super foods so I never felt too hungry or like I was starving.

It has been an amazing 30 days and I know most have been aware that I am doing the Masters Challenge– Beachbody’s Hammer and Chisel program! I am so excited, nervous and happy to be sharing these 30 day results with you!
Truly… this is always the hardest thing, putting yourself out there for people to see your journey but my goal is you are inspired to make health and fitness goals yourself and join me in helping you achieve them!
This program has not been easy by any means but it was a challenge I loved and continue to love every day. I still have 3o days to go until completion but here is what I learned so far.
This is a marathon not a sprint.
Results come when I work hard and when I don’t my results suffer.
EATING RIGHT IS KEY TO SUCCESS– there were a few days where I fell off the wagon on my eating but I got right back on my horse.
I learned to embrace the WTF moments: mainly at 4am when I was doing the workouts…but as soon as it is over I couldn’t be happier! It literally is 30-45 mins a day, why was I complaining. I embraced all of it though.
I still have a long way to go– progress not perfection.
SO! That is what I learned so far in 30days– This program is absolutely amazing. It has everything I ever wanted in a training program. You build off of every level Strength, endurance and power and I feel so much strong.
Most people are into measurable results so let me give you an example of where I started vs today.
So Jan 4th I started the program a steady size 4, 147 lbs and my crap scale said 32% body fat. Today, February 1st, I am a size 2 (even those are big) but my thighs are too big for zeros (I am so ok with that ๐ฌ๐) I am 144.5 lbs and 28% body fat. Honestly the scale didn’t move much but I DO NOT CARE and you shouldn’t either. I am currently looking to be the leanest and meanest muscular machine! I won’t be 115 lbs ever because I love CrossFit and at 5’5″ that is just not possible. I do have 10 more lbs to go to be at my ideal weight but if I did not hit that weight and got to 15 -18% body fat I would be okay too.
The point of this is to show you that no matter what stage I am at, 147 pounds or 144.5 pounds, I love my body either way. I don’t workout because I hate my body or the way I look and you shouldn’t either! We workout because we love our body and we want to be the most healthiest, happiest we can be! So love yourself throughout your entire journey!

Since Christmas time my life has been GO- GO- GO. But all for the good.
To start… I am tackling a new Challenge called The Hammer and Chisel Masters challenge. If you haven’t heard. I packed on 7 lbs from Thanksgiving to New Years and it is time to get that shit under control.
So to hold my self accountable I joined a Coach Masters Challenge Group! It is going great! I weight in next week on my 30 days! I will post my 30 day before and afters then ๐ GET READY!

I have been traveling a lot, we spent the holidays in Auburn, FL and we will soon be in CO and then I will hit PA! Lots of airplane love and miles to rack up ๐
When the New Year hit Jim and I celebrated 2 years together! Seemed like so much longer but we have been friends for almost 8 of those years so it makes sense. We celebrated with an amazing steak dinner and then… I ran a 15K the next day haha. He is so supported of my crazy fitness life. Truly is my soul mate.
So… here we are… pre- me dying… I ran the whole thing! Finished in 1hr and 35mins! Not bad for my first 15K, it was for charity too!
Not too shaby… It was invigorating!
We love doing charity workouts and supporting causes especially ones that hit close to home like the AVON39! Myself and my Team Fearless Fitness memebers are still active in raising money for the Avon39, The Walk to End Breast Cancer. You might have seen this around too…
That is right… I am the face of the Pandora, and Facebook Social Media ads… and if you have picked up a Shape Magazine lately… you will see my sisters beautiful face! She is too!

Speaking of Soul…. Today I tried Soul Cycle for the first time ever!
Talk about moving and nourishing your mind! I love motivational anything, quotes, books, personal development etc and this just took things to the next level.
It was absolutelyย a-maze-ing. Words could not describe the feeling I had. Tyrell was such a good instructor and I can’t wait to go back and take another class!
Thank you Cara Alwill Leyba for inspiring me everyday by your books, your IG post etc and eventually this class. Everything I have turned into has been because of the confidence your coaching has brought ๐

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes, reserve small amount for rolling
1tsp maple extract
1tsp pure maple syrup
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 pinch sea salt
To do:
1. Place dates in medium bowl; cover with water. Let soak for 10 minutes. Drain. Set aside.
2. Place pecans in food processor; pulse until finely ground.
3. Add dates, pumpkin, coconut, extract, maple syrup, Punkin pie spice, and salt; pulse until well mixed. Place in a medium bowl. Refrigerate, covered, for 30 minutes.
4. Using clean hands, roll into tablespoon sized balls; role in reserve a coconut if desired.
5. Store, refrigerated, an airtight container.
