Reunited and it feels so good!

First off let me start by saying I feel very blessed to be able to share my journey with all of you who are willing to listen.

Second one of my bffs from Portland is in town!!! Miss Monica Paid Cali a visit and I couldn’t be happier!

Monica was and has been a fitness inspiration since I started working out in 2010. She is a huge motivator for me and I get so excited when she comes home to visit ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well we got to workout together, met my girl Steph for UJam! As I mentioned a while ago I am a Ujam instructor in training. Completing my certs at the end of August. Well today I taught my first class, sort of I taught a song but it was the greatest feeling! Totally pushed me out of my comfort zone! It wasn’t that great but i did it!

I can go to bed completely satisfied with today that I indeed, nailed it!

And now I’m eating a yummy polenta bake! Comment for the recipe and I will add it to the blog!

Weddings, temptation and exhaustion

That is right! Taking this as a lifestyle change not a short term fix!

I had an amazing time celebrating my beautiful friend and her husband tie the knot!

Yes I did indulge, I had a s’more and two of my favorite vodka drinks but I didn’t slack on my workouts!

It definitely is about sticking to it and working hard to get where you want to be.

I was so exhausted on Sunday but I made it to dance and got back on track with my schedule today with some turbo fire, PiYo and a run๐Ÿ˜Š

Preparing my self for my 6month post breast cancer surgery check up!

I’m actually losing the weight!

Hey everyone! I lost 3lbs!!! I’m pretty proud I stayed on track even through the weekend! I did allow my self one cheat meal -meal- not day and u worked out super hard!

It hasn’t been easy but I have surpassed the temptations and now am on my second week of my new life style

Minus my 3lbs of fat gone my new skin care products came today!!! My Nerium day & night cream! So today I took my before photo and will test my new skin care line for the next 30 days! Anyone else interested in trying let me know. I know a guy who knows a guy haha aka my bf who is a brand partner!! So jump on my skin care band wagon!

I mean I want a healthy body why not healthy skin too!?!?

Rest day… Sort of.

Today was a success! So happy I got to see my parents for a few hours too ๐Ÿ˜Š and got to shoot my bow and arrow!

Yes you heard me, I shoot. You can’t always find me in the gym, I workout other ways too!

I got a 257 calorie burn just from having fun shooting!

What did everyone get into on this Sunday? Hopefully you got out and enjoyed the sun like me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Took all I had!

Today was the worst of them all but I made it through!

Last night was the best! Dierks Bentley concert with my beau! Only issue is the parking lot was a nightmare. We didn’t get home till 1a. The concert ended at 11p. Weak sauce!

So this morning my 4a alarm rang and my zombie body made it to work before the market opened.

I had no motivation. No energy. No will power. So I rested on lunch. No 2miles. That lack of inspiration carried into my evening workout. However, I made the decision. I WAS going to go to UJam.

It seemed that everything was trying to get me not to go: I had a head ache then my stomach cramped. Nope, not working I’m still going. Then my boyfriend calls and says he left his keys in my car, ugh! 4:55 and 30 mins to get to class. Well here I go back to SM to drop off his keys…. But even after all that.

I MADE IT TO CLASS!

And I’m glad i did! Look at that caloric burn! I’m exhausted so off to relax I go but remember no matter what, push your self to continue your journey. You may surprise yourself how much will power you have!

May the odds ever be in your favor

Well today was the first struggle. I’m shocked and proud all at once.

Tonight I won’t be hitting a double day because I will be enjoying the handsome (not as cute as my bf) Dierks Bently at shoreline! Holler if you’re going too!!

With that being said I needed / need to stay strict with my eating and definitely get my running in at lunch. Well… I struggled. I had a coworker say she was walking to target, shopping is my weakness and my boyfriend said he was sore so there I was.

I had no motivation to want to run 2miles. But a little voice in my head said ugh wake up Tina!!! Get your butt to the gym. You are gonna be resting tonight! Then my boyfriend stepped on and said “babe you got this lets go to the gym I’ll find something I can do” (he’s nursing an ankle injury)

And boom! I did just that! Drove us to the gym and got my 2 miles in! Definite victory! Best part was I ran and watched the hunger games which I’m obsessed with ๐Ÿ˜œ

Like I said… May the odds ever be in your favor๐Ÿ’ช

Boom! Get outta yo mind!

Wahoo! Day 3 done and I feel great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘Š

I got my two mile run in and some PiYo upper body but my big calorie burn goes to the one and only #UJAMFitness!!!

Have you ever heard of it!? If you haven’t I encourage you to YouTube some videos! U-Jam Fitness is an athletic hip-hop fitness workout that combines dance and high energy music for a freaking awesome burn! It’s such a great workout I’m even taking the steps to become an instructor!

Anyways it’s just another form of burning calories where I’m actually having fun and getting a great workout! Like I said if you haven’t heard of it look up a class near you and try it! Even got the BF to come to a class ๐Ÿ˜‰

Kick Ass Tuesday

Well today is day 2! Only ten more before the cravings go away, haha๐Ÿ˜œ

I was struggling today! I am not sure why but pizza was on my brain the while day. Don’t worry… I didn’t cave ๐Ÿ˜‰
I am exhausted but glad I got my workouts in. Little HIIT workout followed by some PiYo oh and don’t forget my 2mile lunch run!

Feel like I nailed my workouts- they definitely left me sore ๐Ÿ’ช
