Perfect Push up

Can’t do a push up!? 
Do you have the right form? 


You can cause lots of pain without proper push up technique, so what really does that look like? 
1️⃣ get on all fours, feet together keeping your body in a straight line. 
2️⃣ Keep your hands in line with your shoulder, squeeze your butt (glutes 😜) &tighten your core. 
3️⃣ Elbows tucked, head in line with spine and core tight. Lower your torso down until your threshold or a few inches above ground. Hold. Then engage your lats to push your self back up into position. 
To hard? Try push ups on a box bench or a raise ledge! The greater the angle the easier the exercise!

Team Beachbody blog has done it again! 

Can’t wait to make this for meal prep this weekend! 
Coconut and Lime Cauliflower “Fried Rice”

Total Time: 35 min.
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min.
Yield: 8 servings, approx. ½ cup each

Ingredients

2 medium heads cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 Tbsp. extra-virgin organic coconut oil, divided use
1 (13.66-oz.) can unsweetened organic lite coconut milk
1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
4 Tbsp. fresh lime juice, divided use
4 tsp. finely chopped lime zest
½ cup finely chopped cilantro; reserve a small amount for garnish
¼ tsp. sea salt (or Himalayan salt)

Preparation

1. Place half of cauliflower in food processor; pulse until cauliflower is chopped into pieces about the size of rice. Repeat with the other half. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add cauliflower; cook, stirring frequently, for 4 to 6 minutes.
4. Add coconut milk, coconut, and 3 Tbsp. lime juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; gently boil, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 12 minutes, or until tender and liquid evaporates.
5. Add remaining 1 Tbsp. lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, and salt; cook for 2 minutes, or until lime juice evaporates.
6. Divide evenly into eight serving bowls; garnish evenly with cilantro.

Nashville 💕

This weekend I left home and embarked on a 3 day powerful coaching journey where I celebrated with my amazing team our accomplishments, worked out with super star trainers and had the time in an a amazing new city!

They say their is something about finding your passion and diving head first into it that you will never feel as though it’s work, I agree. 
This didn’t feel like work, it felt like family. 


That’s 25,000 family members working out together, helping to end the trend of obesity! 


It was meeting my team, exploring new eats and being inspired by others.

We ate healthy together….

And enjoyed Nashville’s treats … Because it’s about balance 😎

We had fun with the best trainers, both on… 

And off the stage:

I’ve never felt so inspired, motivated and excited to continue on my mission of helping you all hit goals!

Birthday Cake 😏🎂

Don’t worry it’s healthy!

Because Beachbody would never fail us! 

Look at this:

Birthday Cake Energy Balls

Prep time: 15 mins

Total time: 15 mins

Yield: 16 servings, 1 ball each

Ingredients
1½ scoops Vanilla Shakeology

1¼ cups dry old-fashioned rolled oats

⅓ cup all-natural smooth almond butter

4 Medjool dates, coarsely chopped

¼ cup chopped raw almonds

½ cup mashed banana (about 1 large banana)

½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
Preparation

1. Combine Shakeology, oats, almond butter, and dates in food processor; pulse until dates are incorporated.

2. Add almonds, banana, and extract; pulse until just blended.

3. Roll into sixteen balls, about 1-inch in diameter each.

Avocado… Mess everywhere!

Ever cut an Avocado only to just be wearing it all over your hands?! 
Well the Beachbody blog has you covered! 

Just cut the avocado in two, remove the pit with a spoon, slice the avocado while it’s still in it’s shell, and remove all of the slices at once with a spoon. Or, use a spoon to remove the avocado in one large a piece and then slice.

Today we give you our meal prep recipe of the week! 

Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats!

Serving Size 1 Mason Jar

Serves 5

Ingredients:

2.5 Cups Quick one minute oats (divided amongst 5 Mason Jars) 

1 Cup Plain NF Greek Yogurt (divided amongst 5 Mason Jars) 

2.5 Cup Apple Sauce, Unsweetened (divided amongst 5 Mason Jars) 

5 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Seasoning- FlavorGod  (divided amongst 5 Mason Jars) 

Divide ingredients equally amongst jars in layers, refrigerate overnight, serve cold or warm in the AM!

Easy and tasty 💗
