Two years ago, I was hit with a terrible illness that cause me to undergo a bilateral segmental masectomy. I was depressed and in a fitness rut. But then the support of my Beachbody family, my own family and friends helped me to get passed it and I am in the best shape of my life. Now I have found an amazing company that gives me the opportunity to help pay it forward and help others get in the best shape of their life!

I know you, you’re thinking, is this for real? or is this a scam? I totally understand, cause I was skeptical for 6 months before I made this decision!
It will take work, this is not a get rich quick kind of thing, but the potential for what it can do for you is worth it!

There is just no excuse anymore…

I’ve told you many times that this whole losing weight staying motivated thing is a struggle.

It is for you just as much as me… We have to stay strong though!

I find planning my workouts before I leave on trips helps hold me accountable. My boyfriend also helps! He books hotels that have gyms ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‚

We are in lovely Palm Springs for a wedding and the hotel we are staying at had “a awesome gym, looks huge online!”

Yeah right….

It had one treadmill and one elliptical and one 1970’s bow flex ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ‘Ž but I ran I used it anyways… The room literally was 2×2

Then another couple came in… You could tell new to fitness and I had only gotten 8mins and 1mile in… But I knew the gal wanted the treadmill.

So here I go, hop off hand over and head back to the room. I could have easily said forget it and go eat. But nope! I plugged in my laptop and started Turbo Fire Greatest HIITS!!!

See there absolutely is no excuse! You just have to want it!

My goal, be active everyday, no excuses.

Time to celebrate!!!

How are all my loves on this brisk fall evening? Well I hope! I am ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just got home from an amazing weekend celebrating my sisters birthday! She turned the big 23! And Lordy did we celebrate! There was a candy bar and cookies! Nachos and all kinds of carnival treats!

Yes I consumed it all and no I don’t have any regrets!! But it’s time to get back on the wagon. And tonight I did just that. It was a slow easy workout since I was also not feeling well but I got some good cardio and sauna time in!

And don’t forget! It’s okay to indulge a little and it definitely okay to celebrate! So DONT GIVE UP!

Happy Fall Ya’ll!

Hi all! Well it has been a little bit but I have been enjoying having my boo home! Tell you that a day is too long with out him but 14! Now that is long, distance definitely made my heart grow fonder ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ˜.

Anyways, now I’m back! And I told you I would be experimenting with all things pumpkin and making healthy yummy goodness! Heck, you will be in heaven when you try this pumpkin chocolate protein pancake recipe!

Well they are loaded with sugar and calories. But I love pancakes! So below is my alternative chocolate pumpkin protein pancakes!!! Try them out and tell me what you think!! The nutritional value is below!

Ingredients:
2 Scoops of Muscle Milk Chocolate Protein Powder
1cup of Pure Pumpkin
2 tsp cinnamon
2tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp baking powder
4 egg whites
1 cup oats
1cup & 4tbsp water
4 packets of stevia

Directions:
Blend all ingredients
I used an ice cream scope to pour the pancakes on the hot griddle. Serve with your fav sugar free syrup or eat plain! They are amazing!!

The recipe makes 22 small pancakes, the serving size is for 1 pancake ๐Ÿ™‚ and check out their nutritional value!

Summer has come and gone…

happy first day of September!!!

We all know that means pumpkin everything! Stay tuned for some fall recipe swaps ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well to start off I apologize it’s been forever since I have wrote out a few lines but life has in a sense gotten away from me and not in a good way even though these past few days have been awesome since I have been with my fam!

On a progress note! I’m down 6.1 lbs. I haven’t weight in this week but I did take a progress photo for you!!

I’m still a work in progress and I probably always will be. I struggle and I fall, but all of that doesn’t define me. What defines me is how gracefully I rise as I get back up.

People will hurt you, they will break promises, they will change, and they will change again. Don’t let that bring you down. It only makes us stronger.

Flex Friday bay beeeeee!

Had a nice little road trip up to see the fam and decided to hit the 24 hr in Citrus Heights and get my flex on!!!

Reunited and it feels so good!

First off let me start by saying I feel very blessed to be able to share my journey with all of you who are willing to listen.

Second one of my bffs from Portland is in town!!! Miss Monica Paid Cali a visit and I couldn’t be happier!

Monica was and has been a fitness inspiration since I started working out in 2010. She is a huge motivator for me and I get so excited when she comes home to visit ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well we got to workout together, met my girl Steph for UJam! As I mentioned a while ago I am a Ujam instructor in training. Completing my certs at the end of August. Well today I taught my first class, sort of I taught a song but it was the greatest feeling! Totally pushed me out of my comfort zone! It wasn’t that great but i did it!

I can go to bed completely satisfied with today that I indeed, nailed it!

And now I’m eating a yummy polenta bake! Comment for the recipe and I will add it to the blog!

Yes I did indulge, I had a s’more and two of my favorite vodka drinks but I didn’t slack on my workouts!

It definitely is about sticking to it and working hard to get where you want to be.

I was so exhausted on Sunday but I made it to dance and got back on track with my schedule today with some turbo fire, PiYo and a run๐Ÿ˜Š

Preparing my self for my 6month post breast cancer surgery check up!
