Where have I been? Here, there and everywhere!

Okay… So I have been M.I.A the past month. I know, I suck in that regard. But… for all good reason!

I BRING YOU SUCH AMAZING NEWS TODAY!

That is right! Out side of a huge recap of where Team Fearless Fitness has been, but where our goals are, what we are launching and what amazing things you can expect the next few weeks!

But first, to share some empowering and inspiring words.

Most know that I am a one year survivor, I underwent my bilateral segmental mastectomy about a year and a half ago and I have been doing well in my recovery and getting stronger every day. You also know, I am a VERY large supporter of the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer. I was prior to my journey and now I am an even BIGGER supporter!

Well… Last weekend, Team Fearless Fitness hit the streets of San Francisco to CRUSH 39.3 miles in the Fight against Breast Cancer. We walked through Pier 39, Through the financial district, into China town, back into the Marina through Fort Mason and over the Golden Gate Bridge, into Sausalito Tiburon and camping out in Corte Madera Park.

We conquered 23.9 miles on Saturday and on Sunday another 15.4. It was an Amazing, inspiring and unforgettable journey and the best thing is I got to CRUSH IT representing my team and along side my Best Friend and Sister Lo.

Summer Slim Down with 21 Day Fix & Coach T

June 21st was the OFFICIAL start of summer!
THAT IS RIGHT… SUMMER! 
AND in 3 months, it will become everything Fall, everything PUMPKIN!
Can you believe that? Where does the time go? 
Well first lets address the NOW. The now is it is summer time. 
That is BBQ’s, Beaches, Parties and Bathing Suit season! But before all that… Have you checked in with your self and your goals? 
Where are you REALLY at? Be Honest! 
Have you been working hard all year?

Have you just been doing the minimum?

Have you not done anything at all?
If you haven’t done anything… WHAT is stopping you?
Life?

Schedule?

Procrastination?
What ever it may be.. the answer is easy… 
But first… try these simple steps:

1. Set a Goal. Make a long term and short term goal and schedule check ins with your coach to get to that goal. Set smart goals… Specific. Measurable. Action Realistic. Time based goals.

2. Effective Dosage: We get the need to have that “kick in the ass without the over load of a massive program” The answer find one that works for YOU! 

3. Be Consistent– this is a given. You must do the work to get the results. If you want to achieve your goals you need to be consistently working at them everyday. It is a process. 

4. Train Hard Play Hard—Train Smart: Finding the program for you can be tough but it doesn’t have to be when you have a Team Fearless Fitness Coach by your side! We are here to dial in on exactly what challenge group and program best fits our needs! One of our recent challenge groups to highlight is our 21 Day Fix- At home, 30 min workouts, easily portioned nutrition that will help you jump start your fitness goals in 21 days! Insanity meets CrossFit

Hi fitness followers!

GOALS! Why do we set them? What do you want to achieve? Have you set goals? What is the plan to achieve those goals? 

So many questions but all comes back to one thing- the plan. You have to put in the time to plan your goals, your workouts, your meals. If you don’t it’s like you plan to fail. 

Insanity has met crossfit for the next 60 days!! The am is going to consist of my Insanity Max 30 programming for Cardio and crossfit will provide my weight training and HIIT workouts! My goal is to drop body fat And lean out for summer!! I’m on my second week and it is going well so far!! I’m so pumped to be setting these goals and being able to share my progress with you!

Challenges

I Challenge You….

So you have seen them, maybe from me or maybe from another Coach.

You have heard of them.

They are called “CHALLENGES”

So what are they and why do we do them? Well we will get to the bottom of just that!

There can be many reasons why we host challenge groups, it all comes down to their purpose. The WHY behind it is then established as well as the vision.

We have small challenge groups, we have large groups, we have FREE challenge groups and we have groups that you pay to be apart of.

So why? Why do these groups?

Accountability, Coaching, Motivation, 24/7 Support, community, to BE FEARLESS.

With these groups you establish a community of individuals all targeting the same goal, and each goal is defined by your coach in the group.

If you follow me on FB or Instagram you have probably seen me post about my #SUNDAYFUNDAYS which involve #MEALPREP.

Maybe? Yes? Great!

Meal Prep?

People always ask why I do it and then once they see my results they ask me how.

Dedication– harsh but truth.

It is how it is done. It is honestly like being in a relationship with your diet and exercise. You wouldn’t cheat on your BF/GF, Husband/ Wife/Spouse Etc, why would you cheat on this?

Simple– people say I don’t have time, it costs too much money, I don’t like eating the same things.

EXCUSES!

If in between a 50hr work week, coaching, online classes and now CrossFit I find time to work out and meal prep, you my friends can too and I WILL HELP YOU!

The first step is wanting to commit to being dedicated. You can not cancel on yourself, you have to be a straight #BOSS.

Bosses don’t flake on their dreams and aspirations.

NOW THE MOMENT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR….

An easy meal prep breakfast!

Bacon Wrapped Eggs! You can take them with you all week long!

What do I need?

*6 slices of low sodium bacon

*2 Tbsp melted butter

*6 eggs

*6 slices of cheddar cheese (1 1/2 inch squares)

What do I do?

1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cups of muffin tin

2.Cook bacon in a large skillet about 7-8 mins

3. line sides of each cup with bacon. Spoon 1Tsp of butter into each tin. Crack an egg into each tin.

4. Bake until desired egg consistency. 10-15mins top each egg with cheese and bake for 1min until melted.

What am I eating?

1 serving = 1 egg

174 CAL

14.3g Fat

10.7g Protein

.6g Carbs

Just do it… Even if you suck… 

  

This had me dying! 😂 I’m training to be one lean bad a$$ machine! We worked on snatches today and I have never PR before so I set mine today at 75😩 so bad lol but it’s okay! I will get better!!! Practice practice practice! As Nike said “just do it even if you suck” 😂

Bunnies don’t Lay Eggs…. but I ate all the Jelly Beans…

You had to just open this blog post because you either

1. Thought I had too much pre-workout

2. I have completely lost it

or 3. I yes in deed ate all of the Easter Jelly Beans….

I would have to say a little mixture of all three to be exact 🙂

yes, I indulged this weekend in some yummy sour candy treats… they are haunting me as my boyfriend who doesn’t gain any weight, and I emphasize the ANY part, decided it was okay to bring this basket of sugar home. I am practicing self control. Key word– Practicing…

Which leads me to our topic tonight…

What are some of your best practices for staying on track?

Do you travel for work? Do you just work out a lot and not watch what you eat?

Do you manage your macro nutrients? What are your tricks to holding your self accountable?

I want to hear how you do it!

Most of you know that I constantly travel for work or I am just flat out busy. I do not have time to think about what dinner is going to be every night nor do I have time to make some gourmet thing. If I had it my way I would eat my life out of a jar of protein peanut butter… but that is not contusive to my training 😛

So below are some tips for when I am really busy and when I travel! Enjoy 🙂 Feel free to email me with any questions at coachtina.teambeachbody@gmail.com

I’m off to see the world:

1. PLAN: Determine where I am staying, what restaurants are near by what foods I can eat what I won’t eat etc.

2. Pack my snacks for the plane: you can bring your own food on the plane so pick up some snack baggies from your local CVS or Target and pack them with Almonds, dried fruit, jerky, anything that is packed with protein and shelf stable. I also love bringing Quest Bars on the road with me.

3. DON’T forget your Protein Powder, Pre-Workout, and Shaker Bottle. These can be life savers.

4. Indulge but do not over do it. Have that piece of cake but go through the steps of asking your self if it is worth the extra work your going to need to do to burn those calories off. if it is, then have at it 🙂 Don’t ever deprive yourself- That is when binging occurs.

5. WATCH YOUR  ALCHOL intake! It is the calorie killer. Try sipping on skinny cocktails or having a glass of red wine which has less sugar than white and better health benefits.

I am home– But I have NO TIME!

1. Breathe– there is always time, remember Rome was not built in a day but they worked on it everyday.

2. Find a day that works for you and Meal prep for at least 4 days. My day is Sunday. I meal prep my lunches and part of my breakfasts. I plan my Dinner schedule and plan 30min or less meals because I know I am busy busy! Rachel Ray is great at tackling 30min meals but try to meal swap as they are not always the best in terms of waist line friendly. NO OFFENSE Rach! I heart your food but my hips do too 😛

3. Get a Coach (Like me) to help keep you accountable. I can send you meal plans recipes etc. But also be there for you when you feel like you are hitting that plateau. If I am not your coach lets talk, I have lots to offer!

4. Make a schedule and a plan. You have to make time to workout, to meal prep and to be healthy. If you don’t it leaves room for you to add in that fast food run, that happy hour etc. We all need to mingle and have fun but we also need to live a health life style balance.
