Chocolate Caramel Delight Smoothie

I love chocolate ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿซ I literally crave it!

So I’m blessed with I can feature a recipe on the blog that not only is healthy but is nutritious AND involves chocolate! 

  
Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology

1 tsp. pure caramel extract

2 Tbsp. shredded unsweetened coconut, toasted

1 cup ice

Preparation:

1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, extract, coconut, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Summer Strongย

I’m so excited to head up to see my family this weekend!! I miss my sister so much! She’s truly my rock and a big supporter of Team Fearless Fitness! 

 
I’m excited to workout and cook some yummy treats! Just like this yummy  recipe! 
  
If you know me… You know I’m all about throwing my food in a bowl and multitasking! It’s why I love smoothie bowls!

Definitely be trying this:

Cherry Blossom Smoothie Bowl
Total Time: 10 min.

Prep Time: 10 min.

Cooking Time: None

Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:

ยผ cup water

ยฝ cup unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

ยฝ cup frozen unsweetened black cherries, pitted, divided use

ยฝ tsp matcha powder

3 cups ice

ยผ cup strawberries, sliced

1 Tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut

1 Tbsp. raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
Preparation:

1. Place water, almond milk, Shakeology, half of the cherries, matcha, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

2. Place smoothie in a medium bowl. Top with remaining cherries, strawberries, coconut, and pumpkin seeds; serve immediately.

I have been slacking…

Men* I will prepare you… I’m brutally honest when it comes to health fitness and women so you might not like this or maybe those who have GFs/ Wives will get it and find it funny. But I’m warning you a head of time….

So… The “me” show. 

Again, I have been slacking. Started off strong- but then the stress of studying for the NASM certification threw me through a loop. Add in Mother Nature and her having to grace me with her presence and you have an interesting week. 

I knew it was coming though- see your body has a way of telling you, slow the f down. If you don’t listen, well, it doesn’t matter it will slow down for you.

I don’t listen.

I on the other hand, take on more! Haha like any girl boss right? Wrong. You have to have balance, we don’t have to conquer the world in a day. 

Well, given my body has reached exhaustion, late nights studying, crazy CrossFit/ Hard Corp workouts, and coaching…starting last week I begin to spiral… It started with a cheat meal… That lead to a week of inconsistent workouts, I missed my double days and my programming was jacked. 

I was just all over the maps. 

Sunday came and I was still in this funk of disorganized chaos which lead to Monday… Then today it hit me… 

The thing I have been lacking all along was this…  


Ya call me crazy.

I had ran out of my Shakeology Saturday, missed it and yesterday it arrived! 

So going from drinking it daily to missing it 3 days in a row, big deal for my body.
Here is why:

Normally I would be downing Guinness and Corn Beef but since I’m tackling the 22MHC challenge I am refraining…

I’m still going to celebrate though! Thanks to the Beachbody blog I’m covered!   

Total Time: 15 min.

Prep Time: 15 min.

Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk, unsweetened

1 kiwi fruit, peeled and diced

ยผ cup fresh mint leaves

1 tsp. pure maple syrup

1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology

1 cup ice cubes
Preparation:

1. Place almond milk, kiwi, mint, maple syrup, Shakeology, and ice in blender.

2. Cover and blend until smooth.
Refreshing right!

I feel honored…

I get to wake up every morning and grind out 22 mins of Hard Corp workouts with true Heros.

  
My new fitness buddies are the ones that are in the 22MHC workout program! Yep! All military! They kick my ass at 4am!! 

  
Well I’m on day 2, yesterday was tough, I wanted to eat everything. My metabolism was in high gear and I had cravings up the wazoo but I snacked  on healthy things like almonds and fat free popcorn. 

   
  My double dose workout consisted of a 90 minute Bikrim sweat sesh at my favorite studio, Being Yoga! They are number one in the peninsula and teacher Diana is fabulous!

I am so excited to be getting back to my fitness and health routine! I’m even more excited for YOU to join me!

Spring Forward!

So this is my favorite time of year! Longer days so we can enjoy the warm sunshine…

Although there is no sunshine today ๐Ÿ˜ณ

  
Nothing but rain and gloomy skies! But that’s ok! 

I was able to do all my meal prep and get my body ready to tackle my new program that starts tomorrow!

   
 
Yep! 22 Minutes a day to get a slammin body for summer ๐Ÿ‘™๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Oh yeah!

I have a FitGirl Boot Camp starting April first for those who do not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿป want to be hiding out in the house this summer ๐Ÿ˜‰

3 Day Refresh completed!

Wow!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ what an experience!

I’m so glad that this cleanse allows you the ability to eat really good still because I would have died!

But my results are in!! I can say that this wasn’t easy and it put me to the test! I had to avoid temptation all around me- the work place- my house- I literally watched my boyfriend eat pizza as I inhaled my spinach leaves ๐Ÿ™„

But it was well worth it! I feel so amazing!

So here are my numbers…. 

Starting weight: 149.4 lbs

Starting body fat %: 30.6%

End weight: 143.4 lbs 

End body fat %: 27.9%

๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Yep! I feel like I couldn’t have done this without

 1. The support of my friends and family to make sure I didn’t binge

2. Shakeology.

When I wanted to just binge on chocolate I had Shakeology in the AM which helped my cravings through the day. It also filed my body with super foods so I never felt too hungry or like I was starving.

That’s a wrap!

Day 3 complete!

    
I’m feeling amazing! System is getting back to normal! I grocery shopped and meal prepped to continue my clean eating habits but I’m happy to eat eggs and chicken again๐Ÿค—

My meals have been great though! 

   

I was hungry but I got to still eat real food. I totally recommend trying the refresh if you are plateauing or need to restart your healthy eating habits!

It’s only 3 days!! You can do it, if I can you can! 

I can’t wait to post my before and after photos tomorrow so you really see the change that I have made.

Day 2 in the books! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

  
Feeling so clean! I’m living the 3 Day Refresh but as a meat eater I’m excited for tomorrow to be done with ๐Ÿ˜œ

Plug your ears ๐Ÿ™‰ as this might be TMI for some but in order to give a good review I must be honest.

So far so good, little booting and some constipation with day 1 but all is good today! 

 The fiber sweep is doing its thing… The texture freaks me out… Hence the face ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ but it taste ok! 

 
I’m feeling a little sluggish since I’m on a calorie deficit so no workouts so my body can focus on riding the bad things in it instead of repairing muscle etc. 

Enjoyed yummy breakfast & dinner and now to relax with some tea and do some work!

   
 I can’t wait to share my results with you!
